In accordance with Maysville City Commission Ordinance Number 09C-14, the following are the Water and Sewer Rates for the territory served by the Maysville Utility Commission effective on the readings in June 1, 2009

CLASSIFICATION OF SERVICE

First 1,000 Gallons per Month ………………………………@ $8.09 per 1,000 gallons
Next 3,000 Gallons per Month ………………………………@ $4.05 per 1,000 gallons
Next 6,000 Gallons per Month ………………………………@ $3.45 per 1,000 gallons
Next 40,000 Gallons per Month ………………………………@ $2.65 per 1,000 gallons
Over 50,000 Gallons per Month ………………………………@ $1.61 per 1,000 gallons

All metered Water must go through rate schedule steps.
Surcharge of 25% of Water Bill to all customers outside the City Limits.
A 25% Surcharge added to all Multi-family Apartment (4 or more) with one master meter.
Charge for Sanitary Sewer Service $5.19 per 1,000 gallons flat rate fee, (June 1, 2009).
The Industrial Recovery Cost shall be added to the above schedule based upon calculated extra cost for treatment on industrial sewage, of not less than $0.05 per 1,000 gallons.
A penalty of 5% on all bills will be charged if not paid by the 15^th of the following month.

PRIVATE FIRE PROTECTION

For 2 1/2'” connection for fire use ……………………………$208.15 plus taxes
For 4” connection for fire use …………………………………$285.89 plus taxes
For 6” connection for fire use …………………………………$423.78 plus taxes
For 8 “ connection for fire use …………………………………$708.40 plus taxes
For 10” connection for fire use …………………………………$1062.60 plus taxes
 

All bills for Private Fire Protection Service are payable, in advance, on October 1 each year.
 

PUBLIC FIRE PROTECTION

Six Dollars and Sixty cents ($6.60) per plug per month for all Public Fire Hydrants in excess of 97.
